The project ENCI-LowCarb :
Within the project ENCI-Lowcarb ambitious energy scenarios have been developed for Germany and France based only on the contributions of national stakeholders (trade unions, consumer associations, private companies etc.). 2 different tools for the modeling exercise have been used : REMIND-R developed by the project Partner PIK for Germany and IMACLIM-R developed by the project partner CIRED for France.
A transparent representation of stakeholder contributions in scenario modeling exercises allows the creation of more robust scenarios in order to support political decision-making.
